This programme is designed to immerse its participants
in London's business culture and intensity of its
business environment. Especially developed for CIS
business and includes training elements from the 'Psychology
of communication with Western partners' programme,
which develops negotiation and communication skills
in talks with their international partners through
a set of practical business games.
Participants will have an average of 200 hours of
seminar time, conducted in English, which includes
50 hours of lecture time, (25hours per week, 3 hours
a day, plus 2 hours of intense business English).
The group sizes consist of 8-15 people per group.
LBSE are flexible to the individuals' needs, if necessary,
lecture hours can be extended by 5-10 hours per week,
and unique programmes can be designed for individuals
and small groups. LBSE are aware that not all students
of English are on the same level so the school has
developed a system whereby all participants are be
given an induction test on arrival, to ensure that
they are allocated to the right group level: Beginners;
Intermediate; Advance.
Aim:
• To give participants the opportunity to linguistically
immerge themselves in the cosmopolitan business centre
of London.
• To develop finer skills of interpreting and hearing
oral dialogue in English
• To train and correct skills in modern forms of written
dialogue (texting, e-mailing)
• Presentation skills training, whether in form of
discussion, telephone or board room
• To dramatically improve your negotiation and contact
acquirement skills
• The "Express-Train Programme" - social
and educational adaptation skills (module focuses
on British history, culture and political system)
• Support in conforming to English education regulations
and standards

As this programme has been especially developed for
the business needs of Eastern European professionals,

Approach
The programme focuses on: Business English auditoria
seminars. Within this context key areas of lexicon,
method and approach with the international business
profession in mind, are developed. Stimulated dialogue,
group discussions, practical business games, meet
and greets with other business professionals, social
outings are all vital parts of a fully integrated
approach. Attention is paid to correct pronunciation
and understanding of hearing correct speech.
